01Acceptance of these terms

By accessing or using TVSpot — including downloading it, creating a watchlist, or simply browsing shows — you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms of Use. If you are using TVSpot on behalf of someone else, you represent that you have the authority to bind them to these terms.

If you do not agree to these terms, you are not authorised to use TVSpot and should remove it from your device.

02Using the app

TVSpot is a personal TV show tracking app intended for individual, non-commercial use. When using TVSpot, you agree to:

• Use the app only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these terms
• Not attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or extract the source code of the app
• Not use automated tools to scrape, crawl, or interact with any part of the app or its data sources
• Not misrepresent your identity or impersonate any person or entity

TVSpot does not require you to create an account. All your personal tracking data lives on your device and belongs to you.

03Subscriptions & payments

TVSpot may offer optional premium features through in-app subscriptions. All purchases are processed entirely by Apple through the App Store using your Apple ID. We do not handle, store, or have access to your payment information at any point.

Subscription billing, renewal, and cancellation are governed by Apple's standard terms. To manage or cancel a subscription, visit your Apple ID settings. Refund requests must be directed to Apple — we are unable to issue refunds on their behalf.

04Third-party data

TVSpot relies on third-party APIs — including TVMaze and potentially others in the future — to provide show metadata such as titles, episode guides, air dates, and artwork. While we do our best to surface accurate information, we cannot guarantee the completeness, accuracy, or timeliness of data sourced from these providers.

These third-party services operate under their own terms and privacy policies. TVSpot is not responsible for the availability or content of external services, and any disruption to those services may affect parts of the TVSpot experience.

05Intellectual property

TVSpot, including its name, logo, design, code, and all original content, is owned by TVSpot and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. These terms do not transfer any ownership or rights to you beyond a limited, personal, non-transferable licence to use the app as intended.

Show names, artwork, episode descriptions, and other entertainment metadata displayed in TVSpot remain the property of their respective rights holders. TVSpot does not claim ownership over third-party content surfaced through the app.

You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any part of TVSpot without our express written permission.

06Availability & changes

We work hard to keep TVSpot reliable, but we cannot guarantee uninterrupted availability. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any feature or the app itself at any time — with or without notice — for reasons including maintenance, legal requirements, or changes to our underlying data providers.

We are not liable to you or any third party for any such modification, suspension, or discontinuation.

07Disclaimer of warranties

TVSpot is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the app will be error-free, uninterrupted, secure, or that any defects will be corrected.

Show data — including air dates, episode counts, and status — is provided for informational purposes only. We make no guarantees about its accuracy and are not responsible for decisions made based on information displayed in the app.

08Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, TVSpot and its developers shall not be liable for any damages whatsoever, whether direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive, arising out of or related to your use of — or inability to use — the app.

Your use of TVSpot is entirely at your own risk. In no event shall we have any liability to you for any claims, losses, or damages of any kind. If you are dissatisfied with any portion of the app or these terms, your sole and exclusive remedy is to discontinue using TVSpot and remove it from your device.

09Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms of Use from time to time. When we do, we'll revise the date at the top of this page. For material changes, we'll do our best to notify you within the app before they take effect.

Continued use of TVSpot after updated terms are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.
